The way the head is placed on the neck is a bit strange, you might want to check that

A tiny bit more thought put in color would really improve the picture. Especially the face is somewhat monochromatic; tweak the lighting more, maybe?

I really like her pose ! You ve produced a lovely image! However I get the impression that you feel more comfortable working with inorganic parts rather than with the opposite..for example even though there is shadow over her wings i think that there was room to work a bit more their texture...Whereas her clothes and gun....just excellent work!!!!!!

@jawine: - yes, I should. Unfortunately it will not help me with my problems in color-theorie, drawing skills and anatomy . I'll check that.

@arenhaus: I try that all the time, but mostly fail. Thanks for the push forward.

@Kassandra: Thank you! I didn't want to attract so much attention on the wings so I tried to give it a structure that looks like feathers, I liked their look so I stopped working on it - maybe too early, don't know.

I take it you already downloaded the loomis books on www.saveloomis.org? There's a good chapter about colour in 'creative illustration'

(i've got them all on my HD but it's like 84MB if you have a big enough mail/webspace i can give them to you)
